Internet Activity Always Ends with a Game!

Let's stop talking about my internet history and take a look at my current situation.
You all know we are in Information Age or Computer Age or Digital Age , whatever you call it. So we do almost all our work on computer. Of course it is the same for me.
When I open my computer for a project or an assignment it goes on like this :
I open my computer,
connect to the Internet
open a web browser
click on Facebook
open a new tab and click Twitter
I check my e-mails for a few minutes.
I read all tweets
I check all posts on Facebook (see more posts,see more posts...)
Write comments , sometimes update status.
( As you see I've opened the computer with the aim of doing "homework" but I still haven't done anything for my project or assignment )
Then I click on a game, I check it everyday, you know if you click on it everyday it gives you some reward.
Then I try to get high points, pass the people. Sometimes I play the same level again and again.
Suddenly I see the hour. I realize that I spend lots of hours on Internet.
So I stop playing game and go to eat something.
I say it is too late, I can't do anything after all these. I shut down computer.
So, what I'm trying to say is I have an aim before I open my computer but I fail most of the time.

Do You Still Use Msn ?

In my previous post I talked about my limited internet access. So I was looking forward to go on holiday. The happy ending came finally. We were on holiday! I was just sitting all day and chatting on Msn , even we had a birthday party online :) . Some of my friends and I came together on a conversation window and we talked for hours.

 One day it was one of our friends' birthday. When it was 12p.m we sent her a cake picture, there was a birthday message on it.

So, I was really busy with Msn, but then something happened and I started not to use it.

I don't use Msn anymore. It was really boring for me now. I don't use Facebook chat also. I always appear offline. Sometimes I have to appear online and I am really stressed then, what if someone writes me! Actually my friends get surprised when they see me online. Fortunately, now when you are even offline you can write online people, so I don't get unwanted messages.
I don't know how I got rid of my Msn habit. I hope the same will happen again for my other time-wasting habits. I really want it!

Limited Access to the Computer

I had through difficult times when I was at high school. I had limited access to the computer. Because I was staying at a dorm then and we don't have computers at dorm. In my first year there, we just had a two-hour computer lesson in a week. Fortunately my home was not so far to the school. So almost every weekend I went home and tried to compensate the week-days passing without computer.At school days I have only my mobile phone and cd player - then mp3 :) - in the name of technology. They were my valuables :)

One day, our manager banned the use of mobile phones! It wasn't a prohibition, it was a torture actually! We couldn't get used to live without our mobile phones. As you can guess we hid them and used secretly. Sometimes some of us failed - not me thanks God - but we tried to save the ones found by the teachers and we succeeded :)

Internet and I

Internet. How I became a friend with it :) When we first bought our computer we didn't have internet connection. That's why I did that "paint" thing :)

After a few weeks later we had our internet connection. It was a bit different from what it is now. Some of you probably know the sound as you were trying to connect internet then.When you connected internet, your phone became busy just like you were talking on the phone. Moreover it was a bit expensive.So, we didn't use it so much at first. But then we bought an internet connection with a suitable price. 

You can guess the rest. Then we surfed the internet freely.We joined some sites , search something, download something, especially GAMES :)

How did it start?

Let’s look at first when my addiction to the computer  started. I think I was thirteen when I first met computer. I had almost no idea about computer then, but my sister had :) . She really wanted to have a computer and my father couldn’t ignore her. In a short time a computer was bought, so my “drug” came home. My sister was studying a computer course at school so she was able to use it. However ,at the beginning I was just watching her and looking how that thing works. 

Day by day I started to use it, you know first you use “paint” :) , you draw something and color it. What else,  I was playing game, listening to music sometimes English songs and writing their lyrics to a word document,etc.

 Everyday  I discovered something else and got used to spend time with computer. Now, when I think those things I realize how boring they are :) . They seem as little things but they got bigger and became the reason of my being addict.

I am an addict

Hello there! I know the title doesn’t look positive, especially for my first post but don’t worry I am not an addicted to alcohol, cigarette, drug or such things. My addiction is something technological. I think it is an illness that affects mostly our age. I am addicted to my computer, my mobile phone, facebook, twitter, games ( both online or not ).By the way I have also tumblr account :) but not become an active user yet :) In my following posts I will talk about all of them in detail. Maybe you would like to give me some advices or share your experiences with me. I’ll see you soon. Good-bye :)
